1. Information We Collect and How We Use It
When you use the Astral installer and app, we automatically collect some info about your device: your Hardware ID (HWID) and IP address. We use these only to log you into your account and manage it. Each Astral account can be linked to one Discord account and used on one phone and one computer (PC/laptop) at the same time. If you link Discord, we also grab your username, User ID, and avatar URL, just to connect your account and show your Discord profile inside Astral.
We keep IP addresses for up to 30 days (longer only if the law or a legal authority requires it), and they're deleted automatically after 30 days of inactivity or sooner if you ask. We keep your HWID until your account is permanently deleted. We never sell, trade, or share your personal info with anyone outside the services listed below. HWIDs and IPs are used to enforce bans, and rate limits on the website (where HWID can not be used).
2. Third-Party Services
We use a couple of outside services to run Astral: Cloudflare (hosting and security) and Discord (optional account linking). When you use these, your data is also covered by their privacy policies, so it's worth reading Discord's and Cloudflare's.
3. Data Security
We've put security measures in place to protect your data from being accessed, changed, or destroyed without permission. That said, no way of sending or storing data online is 100% secure, so we can't promise it's completely safe.
4. Your Rights and Data Deletion
You can ask to see the data we have on you, fix anything that's wrong, or delete it. To delete your account and everything tied to it, contact us (see Contact) or use the in-game installer; once we get a valid request, we'll remove it all within 30 days, unless the law or a legal authority requires us to keep it. Depending on where you live (like under the GDPR, CCPA, KVKK, or anywhere else), you may have extra rights, and we'll respect those where they apply.
5. Children's Privacy
Astral isn't meant for kids under 13 (the minimum age for a Discord account). We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13, and if we find out we did, we'll delete it as soon as we can. If you think a child under 13 gave us their info, please contact us.
